If Bailey (or Jenny or Titan, …) could talk, without a doubt, he’d be saying “let’s move to Ridgefield, CT!” When checking out places to live, people always ask me about the amenities: schools/daycare, activities, recreation… you know, “what to do”. Hey guess what, dogs do the same thing… they need the 4-1-1 like everyone else! Well, all your canine’s fantasies come true in Ridgefield and here’s what we’ve got for him:
1) The Bark Park:
Where he can “hang with the gang”. A place just for dogs to run and play (w/o leashes) and to be the social animals they are. Taking your pup to the Bark Park is a great way to socialize with other dogsin the pack.
2) Ridgefield Activities and Recreation:
The local dogs go bonkers for the annual Canine Carnival where he can show off all his tricks, win competitions and look pretty for the crowd. Also, Ridgefield’s annual Bernese Mountain Dog Parade brings “Berners” from all over the Northeast to stroll down Main Street… what a sight! There’s also thousands of acres of forests and woods to walk, run and explore: Pierrepont State Part, Bennetts Pond, Hemlock Hills and swimming in Lake Windwing!
